Tragic News: Former Offensive Lineman for the Dallas Cowboys Dies

Char-ron Dorsey, a former NFL player known for his time with the Dallas Cowboys, passed away due to complications from a stroke.

Standing at an imposing 6-foot-6 and weighing 367 pounds, Dorsey hailed from Jacksonville and played college football at Florida State University. He was a standout member of the Seminoles’ 1999 national championship team and earned All-ACC honors in 2000. In the 2001 NFL Draft, Dorsey was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round with the 242nd overall pick.

During his NFL career, Dorsey played for the Cowboys until 2002 before moving on to the Houston Texans and the New York Giants. He concluded his professional football career after the 2003 season.

Dorsey’s football journey began in his hometown of Jacksonville, where he earned recognition as a three-time All-State selection at Jacksonville Bolles High School. After retiring from playing football, Dorsey reportedly dedicated himself to coaching in the local community, leaving a lasting impact as a local legend.
