Ten first-team players are now out of the Chesterfield Tigers’ lineup for tomorrow night’s Super League matchup against the Huddersfield Giants.

Muizz Mustapha and one other player from the 21-man roster announced yesterday will not play tomorrow, according to Castleford head coach Craig Lingard.

“Muizz Mustapha is heading to the specialist after suffering a PCL injury during training. Depending on the results of the specialist’s report, it won’t be a week or two, but weeks on end with that one, Lingard stated.

“Other member of that 21-man roster failed a fitness test. Ten of our men are on the sidelines right now.

In addition to missing two weeks of play due to a concussion, Danny Richardson will also miss time due to illness, which has caused the halfback to lose seven kg.

“He had been unwell and had additional symptoms that kept returning. It’s the first time he’s been back in the building, said Lingard.

He received a rather serious head injury, therefore he is recuperating. He has lost six or seven kilograms and his illness has made things worse.
