Spurs urged to join Man Utd in transfer race worth £12m to QPR

It is thought that Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are vying for the signature of gifted Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze in the summer transfer window.QPR is excited about the Premier League deal since any proceeds from the sale will help the Championship team financially.
The Sun revealed in February that the Spurs had “shortlisted” Eze as a summer target due to the Eagles’ offensive ability, which would fit well in an Ange Postecoglou squad.Michael Dawson, a former Spurs player, has now pushed the team to pursue that deal aggressively.
Speaking on Sky Sports, which TeamTalk was able to obtain, Dawson criticized the effectiveness of Tottenham Hotspur’s available offensive alternatives. “I mean, you look at Eze, Olise, how much are these players going to cost?” he continued. You should go out and have a look at that question.”Hotly speculated to make a summer move for Eze is Manchester United, another club. The Red Devils are reportedly prepared to pay £60 for Eze; they have also been connected to interest in Michael Olise.

According to rumors from last week, Crystal Palace would consider offers for both Eze and Olise over £60 million. 2020 saw the former transfer from QPR to Selhurst Park for an estimated £17 million.
The Premier League team acquired Eze, who scored 23 goals and made 112 appearances for the Rs between 2016 and 2020, with a 20% sell-on clause that benefited QPR. Consequently, the west London club stands to gain a substantial sum of approximately £12 million should he leave for a fee of £60 million.
Oliver Glasner, the manager of Crystal Palace, has taken a practical stance toward the transfer market and has not ruled out the possibility of Eze departing the team this summer. Earlier this month, he stated, “What we can do is show that Crystal Palace is the ideal home for every single player,” in reference to Olise, Marc Guehi, and Eze.

“All we can do is demonstrate our drive, let them know how vital they are to us, and show them that we are competitive with many Premier League sides, that we want to get better, and that they are an integral part of our system.”
However, there’s no assurance either. When the transfer window opens, it might occasionally last for several weeks.Since we are a part of it and powerless to stop it, we play our part by outlining the vision for them and letting them know what role they may play. We’ll watch to see what transpires.”
