Peterborough United skipper missed out on the latest EFL award, who Steve Evans is trying to sign for Rotherham United now and Barnsley’s search for a new boss

Harrison Burrows, the captain of Peterborough United, lost out on winning the EFL League One “Fans’ Player-of-the-Year” title.

In a survey that blatantly favored teams with the largest fan bases, former Posh player Nathaniel Mendez-Laing took home the award. Burrows will have to settle for taking home the actual EFL League One Player of the Year award.

Colby Bishop and Marlon Pack of Portsmouth, Chris Martin of Bristol Rovers, Devante Cole, a forward for Barnsley, Alfie May of Charlton Athletic, and Josh Sheehan of Bolton Wanderers were among the other players nominated for the fans’ vote.
