Dallas Cowboys Linked With $33 Million Cornerback Ahead of Free Agency
Kenny Moore, who signed a four-year $33 million contract with the Indianapolis Colts in 2019, is set to become a free agent. Among the NFL teams, the Dallas Cowboys appear to be a logical destination for the cornerback.
Last season, the Cowboys demonstrated their dominance by securing the NFC East division title for the first time since 2021. With an impressive 12-5 record, they earned the second seed in the playoffs, showcasing their competitive prowess and potential for postseason success.

Moore has established himself as one of the league’s top slot corners, ranking 11th in coverage DVOA among all corners with at least 300 coverage snaps last season. Additionally, he excels in run defense, recording 43 combined run tackles and assists, with his average run tackle occurring after a gain of just 2.9 yards, the second-best in the NFL among cornerbacks with at least 15 combined run tackles.
After a standout season in Indianapolis, Moore, at 28 years old, is looking to capitalize on his success and join a contender. With time ticking, he aims to secure a championship opportunity while still in his prime.
For the Cowboys, securing Moore’s services could address a potential area of need and potentially strengthen their defense overall. As both parties weigh their options in the coming weeks, the decision to bring Moore on board could prove pivotal for Dallas as they strive to compete at the highest level in the upcoming season.
