Leeds United travels to Coventry City on Saturday in another crucial match in their pursuit of automatic promotion.

Given that Coventry is in the FA Cup semifinals and sits just outside the play-off spots, this is one of Leeds’ toughest remaining fixtures of the team’s final six games of the campaign.

Ipswich Town’s away game against Norwich City on Saturday is the start of what appears to be another historic weekend in the race for the top two. Leicester, on the other hand, will play Birmingham, who are fighting for their survival under temporary manager Gary Rowett.

After 17 fierce home games, Coventry is the only team to have prevented Leeds from winning all 17 of them. The teams drew 1-1 at Elland Road.

Even though Crysencio Summerville scored for Leeds that day, the Sky Blues’ aggressive style managed to get under his skin, and on Saturday it’s probably going to happen again.

Coventry defeated Leeds in July to sign a £3.4 million player, and on Saturday he will try to block Farke’s key man.

With two goals in as many games since the club season resumed, Summerville has rebounded from a pleasant 12-day break during the international break.

Dan James is eager to exact revenge on Coventry this weekend because he feels the 22-year-old nearly single-handedly led Leeds to four points during the Easter break.

Summerville will square off against Milan van Ewijk, a former teammate from the Netherlands U21s and one of Coventry’s top players, on the left-hand side.

In an estimated £3.4 million transfer, Van Ewijk moved to Coventry last summer and was reportedly being considered by Leeds.

Leeds needed a new right-back, but they didn’t sign Djed Spence until the very end of the transfer window, which meant they missed out on van Ewijk.

With two goals and five assists in his fantastic debut season at Coventry, the 23-year-old will probably start on Saturday as a wing-back.

When facing Summerville, one of his fellow Dutchmen, he will be determined to stop him at all costs, but considering the Leeds star’s current form, it will be a difficult task.

Summerville, a Leeds player, is the greatest in the Championship

Following his incredible thunderbolt of a goal at Vicarage Road last Friday, Watford interim manager Tom Cleverley named him the finest player in the Championship.

Additionally, he defeated Hull City late on this week with a penalty kick, demonstrating his current level of confidence by taking aim against Joel Piroe.

Considering how the last encounter between Summerville and Coventry ended, Summerville will surely be motivated for this one this weekend.
