3 players who must leave Birmingham City following relegation disaster
After a terrible 2023–24 season that saw them relegated from the Championship, Birmingham City will play in League One the following season.
The Championship has relegated Birmingham City following a disappointing season. Their aspirational future goals have taken a significant step back, and it will undoubtedly result in a busy summer window.
Although there will be a need for new hires, a number of players should anticipate to leave this summer, particularly the prominent St. Andrew’s players.
In order to escape playing League One football, Bielik departed Derby County last summer. Now that Birmingham City has suffered the same fate, he may decide to go again in an effort to keep his spot in the Poland national team.
There should be no shortage of fans for the 26-year-old when the transfer market opens because he is a dependable player at center back and defensive midfield.
Bacuna Juninho
Last but not least is Juninho Bacuna, another midfield player for Birmingham City.
The Curacao international is by far the most productive player for the Blues, with nine goals and six assists throughout the competition, and that will be enough to get him promoted.
Because of his 2025 deal, Birmingham City should be able to fetch a good price for him.
