The Londoner began his career at Luton Town and progressed through the Hatters’ youth ranks before moving from Kenilworth Road to Bristol City when he was a young player.
After that, he was a member of Ashton Gate’s roster for five years during which time he made 54 appearances across all competitions and scored five goals.
Before he went on a permanent basis in 2022, the Robins loaned him out to the following teams: Portsmouth Argyle, Suffolk Town, and Newport County.
Following his acquisition by Sheffield Wednesday, Bakinson played 42 games for the Owls, who under former manager Darren Moore were able to advance from the third division in his first season.
He was loaned to Charlton Athletic in January in order to receive some playing experience after falling out of favor in the Championship the previous season.
Given that he wasn’t a consistent starter with the Addicks, it is surprising to see him linked to the team once more.
Although Nathan Jones may view him as the perfect cover for his ranks, Wycombe Wanderers are a formidable opponent.
In an attempt to close the gap between themselves and the top six in the next season, the Chairboys are keeping an eye on fresh players as they prepare for another campaign under Matt Bloomfield.
