Super Bowl 58: Ex-NFL Pro Bowler Blasts New OT Rules During Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers Showdown
Super Bowl 58 ended in a thrilling fashion when the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in overtime, making it the second time in NFL history. But amidst all the celebration, a former NFL Pro Bowler isn’t exactly happy with the league’s new rules regarding overtime.
As the game was about to end, there were probably a lot of people present and those watching at home who implored the Chiefs to call for a timeout before the final seconds passed. On the other hand, the game would not have ended in a victory for the San Francisco 49ers if the clock ended in zero before Patrick Mahomes threw that game-winning pass to Mecole Hardman.
