Based on their retained list, Swindon Town has extended an offer to Nnamdi Ofoborh for a new deal.

Both the attacker Sean McGurk and the midfield player have received new deals from Swindon Town.

The 24-year-old Ofoborh signed a short-term contract with the League Two team back in March, and at the end of the following month, he will be free to sign elsewhere.

In an effort to retain him on their roster for the upcoming season, the Robins have revealed on their official club website that they have extended their offer to him.

For Swindon Town, holding onto Ofoborh would be beneficial this summer.

Since moving to Wiltshire, he has made seven appearances for the team, giving them greater depth and competitiveness in the middle of the park.

The Londoner spent time at the Millwall academy before to joining AFC Bournemouth as a young player in 2016.

Ofoborh went on to make five appearances for the main squad of the Cherries. In order to gain experience, he also had two loan stints in the Football League with Wycombe Wanderers.

Later, in 2021, Rangers enticed him to Scotland, but he didn’t play for the first team at Ibrox, and in August of last year, he severed his relationship with the Glasgow giants.

He now has an opportunity to return to the game thanks to Swindon Town, and he must choose between staying at the County Ground and trying to find a new team.

The Robins are among the teams that have just released their retained list. Released are Charlie Austin, Tomi Adeloye, Frazer Blake-Tracey, Conor Brann, Tom Brewitt, Tom Clayton, Reece Devine, Brooklyn Genesini, Rushian Hepuburn-Murphy, George McEachran, and Tyrese Shade.

As their loan agreements came to an end, Dawson Devoy, Zach Elbouzedi, Harry McKirdy, and Conor McCarty returned to their parent clubs.
