Play resumes at Roland Garros following……
After rain on Thursday, play on Roland Garros’ outdoor courts has resumed for the second time.
At the clay-court major, play started on schedule and was stopped at 12:05 p.m. local time. The game resumed at 2:08 p.m. following a 50-minute intermission in which participants returned to the floor. A further two hours and forty-five minutes later, at 4:53 p.m., the players resumed play.
The eighth seedOn Court Simonne-Mathieu, Hubert Hurkacz is battling against Brandon Nakashima, while on Court 11, Frances Tiafoe is taking on Dennis Shapovalov.On Court 9, Felix Auger-Aliassime will face Henri Squire, and on Court 2, Lucan Darderi will take on Tallon Griekspoor.
Under the dome on Court Philippe-Chatrier, Novak Djokovic is currently facing Roberto Carballes Baena. Play has been ongoing the entire time.In the evening session, Gael Monfils and Lorenzo Musetti cross paths. Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev advanced under the cover of Court Suzanne-Lenglen.
Rain has forced the cancellation of all doubles matches for the day.
