Millwall
Expert View: ‘Outstanding’ 25y/o to hold off on Tottenham exit despite sale agreement
Despite the Championship team finalizing a transfer agreement with Tottenham, John Wenham thinks Japhet Tanganga will postpone joining Millwall.
The center back and his representative will be eager to weigh his choices, according to Lilywhite Rose, the proprietor of the respectable Spurs podcast.
Tanganga was on loan at the Den for the second part of the previous season, where he had a significant influence and kept the Lions in the Championship.
According to Fabricio Romano via X on May 12, Millwall and Spurs have reached an agreement for the defender’s permanent move, and Tanganga will now have to make a decision.
Wenham, who is exclusively speaking to Tottenham News, thinks the 25-year-old won’t rush into a choice, though.
Tanganga will probably resist the relocation, according to Hamilton.
“His agent will inform other clubs about the agreed-upon amount with Millwall to see if any other clubs would like to match it.
Tanganga will be happy to hear that he has that choice there, but I expect this to take some time.

“I believe Millwall will also be at ease. They thought highly of him, and I’m sure they’ll allow him some time to process it.
It’s fantastic news for Tottenham since they know he will sign a permanent deal this summer.
Ange Postecoglou will be anxious for Japhet Tanganga to complete his transfer from Tottenham.
From the beginning, it was evident that Tanganga had no place under Ange Postecoglou.
If he went back to North London, he would be much lower on the social scale.
Therefore, the wisest course of action for Spurs and the player is a permanent move.
It’s unclear if he wants to go back to Millwall.
Postecoglou will be eager for the Englishman to move on as soon as possible, even if he won’t be in a rush to make a decision before June.
