MK DONS
Former Leeds United star gets banned for unspotted play-off stamp for MK Dons in record-breaking play-off defeat to Crawley Town
Max Dean will serve a three-match suspension to begin the following season following the FA’s evaluation of video evidence from his team’s 5-1 loss to Crawley Town in the play-offs second leg.
In the eleventh minute of play, the 20-year-old attacker seemed to stamp on Jay Williams of Crawley Town; referee Seb Stockbridge failed to see the incident.
In addition to receiving a three-match suspension for violent behavior, the former Leeds player acknowledged the charge.
Dons suffered a record-breaking 8-1 aggregate loss in the play-off semifinal.
