AUBURN TIGERS
BREAKING: Alvin Henderson, a coveted running back prospect, is set to announce his commitment to Auburn football.
Today, highly sought-after 4-star running back Alvin Henderson is poised to announce his college football commitment. Auburn football is eager to secure his commitment as they vie to bolster their 2025 recruiting class.
Hailing from Elba, Alabama, Henderson has received over 40 offers from prestigious programs such as Alabama, Georgia, and Florida State. Ranked as the #8 running back in the class of 2025 and the #10 prospect in Alabama, Henderson’s decision carries significant weight in college football circles.
The announcement is scheduled to take place at noon central time in the Elba High School gymnasium. Auburn has been actively recruiting Henderson for years and has made him a priority for this recruiting cycle.
For Henderson, the key factors in his decision revolve around selecting a school with whom he has established a strong relationship and that can facilitate his development for a potential NFL career.
“My commitment will be to the school that I’ve had the longest relationship with,” Henderson emphasized. “I’m looking for coaches who can develop me and propel me to the next level.”
Despite a change in his primary recruiter from Cadillac Williams to Derrick Nix, Henderson’s interest in Auburn remains steadfast, with coaching playing a pivotal role in his decision-making process.
As Henderson weighs his options, both the On3 Sports Recruiting Prediction Machine and the 247 Sports Crystal Ball predict him choosing Auburn football. However, his finalists also include Penn State, Miami, Florida State, and Oregon, with the Seminoles making a significant late push for his commitment.
