Why Dougie Freedman must bring £25m gem who plays like Neymar to Crystal Palace this summer

The rumors involving Michael Olise will worry Crystal Palace since the team is getting more and more certain that they will sign the gifted Frenchman.

It is likely that Manchester United will act on their significant interest in Olise by deciding Erik ten Hag’s future, and we may witness a bid from that team as well.

There isn’t much the Eagles can do to keep Olise at Selhurst Park if he wants to leave and a bid is received because of a release clause.

Oliver Glasner will require attacking position reinforcements at the club in this scenario, or even if Olise decides to stay. Therefore, Dougie Freedman only needs to sign this great kid.

Crystal Palace should be front of the queue to sign Antonio Nusa

We should be happy to sign a new star for the position even if we don’t sell a big forward this summer. This is because the Eagles will have to rely on guys who aren’t quite up to par without Olise and Eberechi Eze.

According to recent TPW rumors, Palace may be interested in signing Club Brugge’s Antonio Nusa this summer for a fee as high as £25 million, which Brentford agreed to in January.

Given that the winger is a target for European teams like Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, the 19-year-old’s acquisition would be a fantastic coup and a statement of intent from the team.

With or without the sale of Olise, Nusa would be a welcome addition due to his exceptional potential and status as one of Norway and Europe’s top talents.

In reality, Nusa might gain from a year of acclimating with the help of the more seasoned Frenchman if Olise stayed. If Olise ends up leaving then instead, Nusa might then be prepared to take over as the starting player the following year.

Who is Antonio Nusa?

Right-sided forward Nusa is a very gifted player that plays for Club Brugge in Belgium. His performances have garnered him recognition in this regard, drawing comparisons to Neymar.

Nusa, regarded as “one of the most gifted wingers around,” finished the season with 46 appearances for Club Brugge in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing four assists, despite not playing a regular starting role.

Despite his youth, Nusa has already earned seven caps for his country and is a goal scorer for Norway, where he plays alongside Oscar Bobb, Erling Haaland, and Martin Odegaard in an intriguing generation.

With a deal that expires in 2027, Brugge will hopefully recoup the £2.5 million they paid to lure him away from Stabaek, and Palace might be the player to deliver that profit.
