The monthly Championship awards for March have a nomination for West Brom duo Carlos Corberan and Mikey Johnston.

Corberan’s team finished undefeated in March, earning 11 out of a possible 15 points, earning him a nomination for Manager of the Month.

Daniel Farke of Leeds United, who had the same record, faces him. Three months have passed since the Whites last experienced a league loss.

Kieran McKenna, another opponent of Corberan, triumphed over Plymouth Argyle, Bristol City, Sheffield Wednesday, and Blackburn Rovers in March. They did suffer one loss this month, though, to Cardiff City, as the Tractor Boys gave up two goals in stoppage time.

The fourth and final nominee is David Wagner. In five games, his Norwich City team scored twelve goals and earned twelve points in March. As a result, the Canaries advanced into the play-off positions.

Mikey Johnston is a candidate for the Player of the Month award. tallied four goals and one assist in March.

Leif Davies of Ipswich Town, who tallied three assists, is his rival. With 15 assists so far this season, he holds the record for most assists by a defender.

Gabriel Sara of Norwich City recorded three goals and three assists in March. For a player used to taking on a more involved role, it was a change in formation.

Ellis Simms is the fourth and last player on the nomination list. In four games in March, he scored five goals, including a hat-trick against Rotherham United.

This season, neither a West Brom player nor a manager has taken home a single award. Daniel Farke and Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca have shared the trophy twice this season. The August player of the month title has already gone to Gabriel Sara.

The winners will be declared on April 12th, Friday. Danny Wilson, a former manager of Bristol City and Sheffield Wednesday, Don Goodman, and trader Ivor Davies make up the judging panel.
