The Baltimore Ravens, despite being eliminated from the playoffs, are making headlines as rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers is reportedly under investigation for an alleged domestic violence incident.

As of now, Flowers has not faced any criminal charges in connection with the reported incident, as per information from Jonas Shaffer, Justin Fenton, and Tim Prudente of The Baltimore Banner. The Baltimore County Police are actively looking into the alleged domestic assault involving Flowers. The investigation extends to a police department in Acton, Massachusetts, which acknowledged a domestic violence incident report related to an incident in Baltimore County last month and involving the Ravens’ wide receiver.

The purported incident occurred on January 21, but law enforcement authorities are withholding detailed information, citing state laws that prohibit the release of information during an ongoing investigation. Acton Police, following state laws protecting confidential communications between victims and police in cases of domestic violence or sexual assault, declined to release the report and refrained from answering questions on the matter. Baltimore County Police confirmed their awareness of an alleged assault in the Owings Mills area on Jan. 21, stating that the matter is pending and that additional details would not be disclosed at this time.
