Portsmouth, Derby and QPR in transfer 'chase' for Celtic player as manager makes Championship admission

According to sources, three EFL clubs are reportedly vying for the transfer of Celtic player Bosun Lawal.

The strong star’s achievements in League One at Fleetwood Town have captured the attention of several clubs, including Derby County, Portsmouth, and QPR. The 20-year-old, who plays most of his games at center-back, has excelled in both defensive and midfield roles despite their demotion to League Two. Lawal has two assists and six goals.

In the summer, he will go back to Celtic to try to get involved in Parkhead plans. However, The Sun claims that there are choices in England, with Portsmouth and Derby County both interested in moving up to the Championship. But at the moment, QPR is the team that is “leading” the pursuit.

The Irish young prospect has pleased Charlie Adam, the boss of Cod Army, who feels that he possesses skills that few players in the Championship possess. “Unfortunately, Bosun is not our player,” he stated in January.

He is a player for us while he is here, and he has provided us with a solid base in terms of size and physicality. The way he dribbles, touches, and passes the ball. That kind of midfield player is hard to come by in the Championship, much less League One in England.

He therefore has a promising future. He works for a major Celtic football team. We consider ourselves fortunate to have him at Fleetwood, and as the season draws to a close, we will send back a player who is even better than when he arrived.
