As per the reports from Pete Nakos of On3 and Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports, Tre Bradford has made his fourth entry into the NCAA Transfer Portal during his college tenure.

Bradford only spent a brief period of time at Oklahoma (he moved from LSU to OU during spring practice in 2021), participating in the Sooners’ preseason training camp before returning to LSU before to the start of the season.

Following Bradford’s exit, then-OU coach Lincoln Riley remarked, “I would love to explain what occurred.” “To be honest, I have no explanation. Not attempting to conceal anything, for sure. It was an odd circumstance. It is a condition of using the transfer portal. Additionally, you’re adding some people that you simply don’t know as much about, even in a COVID year. Complete as much homework as you like; you’re just ignorant.

2020 saw Bradford start his college career at LSU. Following his brief stay with the Sooners, he returned to LSU, where he competed in 2021 and 2022. For unknown reasons, he missed 2022, but in 2023 he played for the Tigers until transferring to North Texas this offseason. Bradford was, however, taken off the roster on April 4 by UNT, per the Denton Record Chronicle, following his injury that kept him out of most of spring practice.

Bradford has received a lot of attention throughout the years, considering that he has spent about as much time in the gateway as out of it.

The three-year LSU player, a former 4-star prospect, has 16 career rushing attempts for 70 yards and one touchdown.

Chris Gilbert, who joined the North Texas staff last year but later resigned to take a position on Texas’ support staff, was the coach of his high school football team in Lancaster, Texas.
