ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The upcoming Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium will feature several players with ties to Georgia on both the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers rosters. This continues the trend of Georgia being well-represented in previous Super Bowls, with the Georgia Bulldogs consistently having players in the championship game for the past 23 seasons.

Here’s a list of players with Georgia connections on the Super Bowl rosters:

**Kansas City Chiefs:**
1. **Mecole Hardman, Wide Receiver:** Born in Bowman, Georgia, and a former standout at Elbert County High School, Hardman played for the Georgia Bulldogs under Kirby Smart before joining the Chiefs.
2. **Malik Herring, Defensive End:** A Forsyth native who played at Mary Persons High School and later for the Georgia Bulldogs, Herring was signed by the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2021.
3. **Harrison Butker, Kicker:** A Decatur native who started playing football late in high school at the Westminster Schools, Butker became Georgia Tech’s all-time leading scorer before joining the Chiefs in 2017.
4. **Jaylen Watson, Cornerback:** Originally from Augusta, Watson began his college football career at Ventura College before transferring to Washington State. He was drafted by the Chiefs in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
