COVENTRY CITY
Mark Robins tight-lipped on detail as Coventry City suffer yet another injury setback

The revelation that Ben Sheaf would likely miss Coventry City’s final two games of the season due to a muscle issue that prompted him to sit out the team’s match against Blackburn Rovers has dealt the club another personnel blow.
The star midfielder for the Sky Blues has a “muscle issue,” manager Mark Robins disclosed during Saturday’s goalless draw at Ewood Park. “He tried to train on Friday but couldn’t, so he was out,” Robins said.
When pressed for more information regarding the injured muscle, Robins remained reticent, implying that the issue is more serious than a small setback. He remarked, “It’s a muscle in his body.” When necessary, I will inform you. I don’t currently need to discuss it with you. He’s having trouble.
Luis Binks, the center half, was also not included in the Saturday matchday roster. The manager stated, “Binksy is still out with his Achilles issue.” We can’t scan it yet, so I’m not sure how serious it is. It is evident that the two of them were having difficulty; we simply need to address his symptoms and monitor his progress.
Liam Kitching received a straight red card in the goalless draw, meaning he will serve an immediate three-match suspension. As a result, Robins only has Bobby Thomas and Joel Laibeaudiere as available senior center halves, though left defender Jake Bidwell might step in if needed. Midfielder Victor Torp, who hurt his stomach during the FA Cup semifinal last weekend, is also out of commission for City right now.
