Executive Chairman Garry Cook speaks to supporters

Our football team’s participation in the Sky Bet Championship came to an end today, which was a disappointing day for us.

We haven’t always lived up to the high standards we set for ourselves this season, and I sincerely apologize for that. We will take the required steps to ensure that the mistakes we’ve made never happen again and we will learn from them.

Our fans have had a challenging season, and I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for your steadfast and devoted support of the team through today’s last whistle. The football community now knows why attending a full St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park is such a special occasion thanks to you.

I want to tell you that our executive leadership team is aware that we need to do better, regardless of today’s outcome. We’re laying the groundwork to make sure our Club returns stronger than before.

Tom Wagner and Knighthead Capital Management LLC fully back our efforts to invest in the team, people, technology, and infrastructure. Tom expressed his desire for Blues to play in the Premier League and face the top clubs in the nation during the most recent April Blues Open House.

This goal will remain unaffected by relegation.

I want to emphasize that even though I know you and everyone else at the Club are in pain, we all have wonderful days ahead of us.

The Blues are who we are. Even when we fall short, we never give up.

Keep Right On!

Garry Cook
