The Los Angeles Chargers locker room has seen an incredible transformation under new head coach Jim Harbaugh. With the Michigan Wolverines winning a national championship, Harbaugh returned to the NFL and has already drastically altered the locker room and atmosphere of the Chargers.

Dan Wolkenstein of the LA Football Network reports that Harbaugh is updating the locker room of the Los Angeles Chargers with two new, intriguing additions.

He posted each player’s recruiting level after high school beneath their nameplate and reorganized the players’ locker rooms into numerical order. The second one is particularly intriguing because every athlete will check their high school recruitment level at their locker each day.

The majority of guys in the locker room will receive an extra dose of incentive every day when they witness how questioned they were when they were freshmen, as the Chargers only feature a small number of elite prospects following high school.

Los Angeles Chargers Need More Contributors

Only two five-star high school recruits, offensive tackle Foster Sarell and standout safety Derwin James, are on the Los Angeles Chargers roster. Aside from them, the majority of their teammates will be glancing at their lockers and noticing two or three high school standout prospects.

Even Justin Herbert did not come out of high school as a five-star prospect. Even though Jim Harbaugh had a lot of elite recruits at Michigan, he was successful there because he was a unique coach who could get the most out of athletes who had little coverage. The club really needs more elite players, even though this new locker room gag is fantastic.

The team is trying to assemble a new roster as they lost great players Keenan Allen and others during the off-season. With the fifth overall pick in the NFL Draft, the Chargers are in a good position to select the top receiver available.

The Chargers should have the option to select between Marvin Harrison Jr. and Malcolm Nabers, who are both regarded as the best weapons available in this year’s selection.
