Jude Bellingham, a former midfielder for Birmingham City, is the favorite to take home the best scorer trophy at EURO 2024.

Bellingham left St Andrew’s for Borussia Dortmund in 2020 for an alleged £25 million, and since then, he has become a global sensation. With five games left, Real Madrid is 13 points ahead of Girona and he is getting closer to winning his first league championship.

This evening, the 20-year-old can look forward to playing his England teammate Harry Kane and Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-final. This week, Bellingham and Kane are rivals, but according to a former Premier League executive, the Stourbridge native will beat him out for an individual award this summer.

After playing for Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United, and West Ham, Stuart Pearce went on to manage both Great Britain and Manchester City. The 62-year-old believes he will surpass Kane’s goal totals this summer and win the tournament with the most goals scored.

Pearce told OLBG, “I believe Jude Bellingham will win the Golden Boot at Euro 2024.”

“I believe Jude will win the Golden Boot because he’s currently playing a more advanced role for both club and country. He needs to be scoring goals if England are to succeed.

Together with Slovenia, Denmark, and Serbia, the Three Lions form a group. On June 16, they take on Serbia at the Vetlins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen; four days later, they play Denmark at the Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt; and on June 25, they play Slovenia at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne to conclude their group campaign.
