‘He’s lucky’… John Collins says Hibs should have had a red card against Celtic last night

With the chat surrounding Celtic’s penalties grabbing the headlines, John Collins believes that there is one other decision that should have been made in last night’s win over Hibs.
The former Celtic and Easter Road hero said that Hibs midfielder, Lewis Miller, should have seen red after his first-half challenge on Callum McGregor.
Collins said [BBC Radio Scotland], “He’s lucky Callum McGregor’s one of those players, he doesn’t dive about or roll about.
“He’s got respect for the opposition.
“You don’t go to ground like that these days. It’s dangerous.”
At first glance, I thought that challenge was reckless. McGregor wins the ball and Miller continues his follow through and catches the Celtic captain high on the shins.
If it wasn’t looked at by VAR then the young midfielder can count himself lucky because he could have walked for endangering an opponent.
Thankfully though, McGregor wasn’t harmed and Celtic picked up all three points. However, concerns are still ongoing about the injuries to Stephen Welsh and Alistair Johnston.
